Bakery Sales Clerk
Tasty Pastry Bakery in Tallahassee, FL is looking for two bakery sales staff to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on 1355 Market St #A5. Store hours 6 am – 6 pm. Shifts typically 6 am – noon or noon to 6:30 pm. Duties include greeting customers, packaging orders, restocking displays, ringing sales on POS system, closing cash drawers, answering phone calls and taking orders. Tasty Pastry Bakery in Tallahassee, FL is looking for one decorator to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on 1355 Market St #A5. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. Shift is from 8 am until 3 pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Decorate iced cookies
- Ice and decorate cupcakes
- Prepare bakery items for sale
- Finish and decorate bakery items
Qualifications
- Prior bakery experience in decorating area
- Food service certification such as Serve Safe
- Transportation
Baker
Tasty Pastry Bakery in Tallahassee, FL is looking for one day shift baker/cook to join our 28-person strong team. We are located on 1355 Market St #A5. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. Shift runs 7 am – 4 pm.
Responsibilities
- Food prep for casseroles, sandwiches, catered items
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Work with dough handling machines
- Roll, knead, cut or shape dough to form cookies, brownies, muffins, bars
- Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
- Ice, glaze and finish baked goods
- Prepare and maintain inventory
- Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Qualifications
- Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a Baker or Cook a plus
